How to Apply
To apply for the AMT Future Innovators Scholarship, submit the below items via email to marketing@appliedmedical.net*.
- Provide a written personal statement of 250-700 words which will allow the judging committee a chance to briefly learn about you:
- The personal statement may include items such as your personal history, goals, interests, strengths, challenges you have overcome, career field of interest and goals, and why education is important to you.
- Create a 400-600 word essay based on the below prompt:
- Describe a time when you demonstrated innovative thinking to solve a problem or create a new opportunity. How did your creativity and resourcefulness lead to a positive outcome? Explain how this experience has influenced your future goals and how this scholarship will support your journey toward driving innovation in your chosen field.
- Submit the appropriate accompanying materials:
- Unofficial transcript
- Your first and last name, email, and phone number
- Your college or university acceptance letter (high school seniors only)

How much is the scholarship?
The AMT Future Innovators Scholarship is a one-time, $4,000 scholarship that will be paid directly to the student’s school to be used toward education expenses.
What are the dates for submission?
The Contest will run from April 7th, 2025 to June 30th, 2025
- To be considered eligible, all submissions must be completed during this time frame. No late entries will be accepted.
- All submissions must be sent to Marketing@AppliedMedical.net.
When will the winner be selected?
The winner will be selected on July 14, 2025 via email. The winner will have 14 days to acknowledge this notification and commence coordination of the prize.
- If the participant does not acknowledge their selection within 14 days, they will be disqualified and a new winner will be selected.
When will the check be sent to the winner’s college?
The scholarship funds will be released to the participant’s institution by August 25th, 2025, pending appropriate communication
Who is generally eligible to enter?
You are invited to enter the contest if you are:
- Age 18 years or older
- Currently a high school senior or attending an accredited college or university within the United States
- All fields of study are eligible to enter
- Currently maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher
What do I need to submit as part of my application?
All entries must include:
- Your first and last name, email address, and phone number
- A copy of your unofficial transcript

- If you are a high school senior, you also must include an acceptance letter to the institution you are planning to attend

- An essay detailing how you plan to use innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and creativity to reach your goals (see prompt)

What is the writing prompt for the personal statement?
Your personal statement allows our judging committee to learn more about who you are.
Your personal statement must be between 250 and 700 words and may include any of the following topics:
- Personal history
- Goals
- Interests
- Strengths
- Challenges you have overcome
- Field of interest and career goals
- Why you feel continuing your education is important
What is the essay prompt?
Your essay must be between 400 and 600 words, following the prompt below:
- Describe a time when you demonstrated innovative thinking to solve a problem or create a new opportunity. How did your creativity and resourcefulness lead to a positive outcome?
- Explain how this experience has influenced your future goals and how this scholarship will support your journey toward driving innovation in your chosen field.
Our judgement committee will score all entries based on:
- Innovation and creativity
- Clarity and organization
- Relevance to the prompt
- Illustration of personal growth and resilience
- Grammar and mechanics
